Manager - Business Development (Institutional Broking)

We are looking for a smart, energetic, and experienced business development professional to join our institutional sales team inMumbai. As Manager – Business Development, you will play a key role in acquiring and managing institutional clients, supporting strategic growth initiatives,and building strong relationships across the capital markets ecosystem. This is a great opportunity for someone with a proven track record and 4–6 years of relevant experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities :Identify, target, and convert institutional clients such as PMS, AIFs, proprietary trading desks, brokers, and fintechs.Actively pitch FYERS' institutional offerings and driveend -to -end onboarding.Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions to drive engagement and adoption.Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned institutional clients.Ensure high satisfaction levels through proactive communication and issue resolution.Drive client retention and revenue growth through upselling and cross -selling opportunities.Leverage networks, referrals, and market insights to identify new business opportunities.Track competitor activity, industry trends, and client feedback to refine strategy.Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with structuredfollow -ups.Coordinate with cross -functional teams—tech, operations,compliance, and risk—to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing.Provide inputs to the product team based on clientuse -cases and enhancement requests.Maintain detailed CRM records for all leads,opportunities, and accounts.Prepare weekly/monthly reports on performance, pipeline status, and client feedback. KeyQualifications & Experience :4 to 6 years of experience in institutional or enterprise sales, from institutional broking firms.Demonstrated success in B2B client acquisition and relationship management.Solid understanding of the broking industry, market infrastructure, and trading ecosystems.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self -motivated with a strong sense of ownership and results orientation.Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and data reporting.
