Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deploy, support, and manage AI/ML and Generative AI workloads on AWS, including large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI GPT and Claude via API integrations.
  • Automate infrastructure and deployment workflows using GitLab CI/CD, Terraform etc
  • Manage and scale containerized applications using K8s for high availability & performance.
  • Build and maintain backend APIs using FastAPI or Flask to interface with AI services
  • Monitor production workloads, ensuring performance, reliability, & uptime of AI/ML services.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to operationalize ML models in real-world applications.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or ML Ops, with strong AWS background.
  • Experience supporting AI/ML environments and working alongside data science/engineering teams.

Skills (Mandatory):

  • Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, SageMaker, EKS, Athena)
  • Experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform.
  • Basic Programming in Python, especially using FastAPI or Flask for backend services.

Skills (Good to have):

  • Basic experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Familiarity with data tools like Pandas, NumPy, and/or PySpark.
  • Awareness of ML lifecycle tools (MLflow, SageMaker Pipelines).
  • Experience working in Agile teams with Git-based workflows.
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
