Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in CAD software and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical components, creating detailed drawings, and supporting manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 2D and 3D mechanical designs using SolidWorks, Creo, Pro-E, and AutoCAD.
  • Create detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
  • Work on sheet metal design and fabrication-related components.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Review and improve existing designs to enhance performance, cost efficiency, and durability.
  • Prepare and modify engineering documentation and design reports.
  • Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards and quality guidelines.
  • Assist in prototype development and design validation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, Creo, Pro-E, AutoCAD.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and sheet-metal fabrication.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create fabrication and assembly drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Experience in HVAC / electrical panel industry (if applicable).
  • Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and industry standards.
