Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of rooftop solar projects for C&I clients. This includes project planning, scheduling, vendor coordination, on-site supervision, and ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle — from site survey, design coordination, procurement, installation, to commissioning and handover.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, logistics, finance) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors, and DISCOMs).
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, cost targets, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to track progress and resolve on-ground challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory norms.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to management and clients.
  • Manage vendors, subcontractors, and service providers to maintain quality and delivery standards.
  • Support in project documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, and handover documents.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any project-related concerns.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in project management, with 3 years in rooftop solar (C&I) projects.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV system design, installation, and commissioning processes.
  • Proven experience in vendor and client management.
  • Familiarity with local DISCOM procedures and solar-related regulatory requirements.
  • PMP certification or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
