  • Ensure smooth functioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, panels, and control circuits in production, utility, and plant areas.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical equipment such as transformers, DG sets, HT/LT panels, motors, VFDs, UPS, and HVAC systems.
  • Monitor and maintain power factor, load distribution, and energy consumption to ensure optimum utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Handle electrical installations, commissioning, and validation support for new machines, utilities, and projects.
  • Maintain documentation as per GMP and audit requirements including logbooks, calibration records, and maintenance reports.
  • Coordinate with utility, production, and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted operation of manufacturing and laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under the Electricity Act, Factory Act, and internal EHS standards.
  • Liaise with external contractors and statutory authorities for inspections, approvals, and periodic audits.
  • Identify opportunities for energy conservation and implement improvement projects.
  • Support breakdown analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
