Position: Inventory Manager

Location: Bengaluru( Dasanapura )

Required Education and Experience: Graduate/Postgraduate in  BCom\MBA, Business Administration, or related fields and 7 to 12 years of experience in a retail or FMCG.

Preferred: Strong Knowledge on Inventory management processes Experience in managing a Warehouse/Store People Management (ability to manage large teams) Strong Communication Skills Analytical and Data Interpretation Skills Planning & Prioritization Skill

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct daily briefings with Inventory Controller, Row In charge, and Inventory Executives to review daily activities.

  2. Oversee DC Inventory metrics: Fill Rate, Write-offs, Stock Updates, Inventory Accuracy & Customer Complaints.

  3. Verify accuracy of inventory accounting transactions.

  4. Conduct regular inventory checks and reconciliations.

  5. Conduct weekly Inventory metrics reviews across all LOBs.

  6. Standardize planograms across all LOBs.

  7. Ensure 100% adherence to inventory hygiene checks, including Bin Audits, FIFO Checks, Cycle Counts, Display Standards, and timely replenishment.

  8. Manage resources efficiently.

  9. Track near expiry and DOH and take timely action.

  10. Liaise with inter-functional departments: Projects, HR, B&M, IT, Inbound & Outbound teams. 11. Accountable for asset management for all BLs, movable and fixed assets in the region.

  11. Ensure compliance and adherence to inventory processes.

  12. Conduct wall-to-wall Inventory Audits for all BLs in the region.

  13. Adhere to Returns Management processes.

  14. Improve resource efficiency for Stackers & Inventory resources.

  15. Evaluate resources and build leadership skills to ensure team performance.

  16. Involved in new initiatives.

  17. Ensure no surprises in inventory management process.

  18. Conduct data analysis and take corrective actions on deviations.
