Location: Mumbai, Goregaon West (Mon- Fri)

Enago Academy ) is the knowledge arm of Enago that provides author education services and publishing industry updates.

About EnagoSince 2005, Enago has helped numerous first-time and experienced researchers with manuscript preparation, submission, and publication. We cater to authors worldwide, namely from countries such as Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Russia, Germany, Turkey, Brazil, and Mexico. In our endeavor to reach out to ESL authors across geographies, we have collaborated with several publishers, scientific societies, and universities.

We now intend to further increase this association through the specialized channel of Enago Academy, primarily by offering comprehensive and up-to-date resources to the scholarly community and by conducting training workshops and developing modules on academic writing and publishing.

About the Role

Content Development

Implement content ideas revolving around the end-to-end process of manuscript writing, submission, and publication as well as developments within the scholarly publishing industry

Responsible for maintaining and developing the content for Enago Academys exclusive projects

Co-ordination with industry experts for developing content and delivery

Visualize and design interactive resources for increased engagement with the subscribers and readers

Generate engaging content for social media, newsletter and website promotions

Content Management

Assisting with course development and evaluation methodologies

End-to-end quality management for projects and deliverables

Responsible for output quality in all formats such as video, text, quizzes, etc.

Maintaining version control for different projects

Delivery Management

Assisting video editors in getting raw content edited and adaptable for users.

Assisting designers in modifying content for aesthetic and technical reasons.

Implementing delivery-related changes based on technological and content-based feedback for end users

Project Management

Coordination with all stakeholders, including regional teams, designers, developers, providing guidance and assistance for project delivery and deadline management

Build long-term business relationships with our valued freelancers and industry professionals

Maintain proper records for publishing and project plans (electronic and hard copy)

Must Have

MSc in Physical/Life/Medical Sciences, with a strong inclination toward content development and STEM industry

Should have experience in academic research and publishing in high-impact factor journals; possibly have first authorship and/or co-authorship in published papers

Thorough knowledge of the STEM industry

Strong content writing/editing skills

Strong design skills and social media awareness

Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)

Proficient user of MS office

A Definite Plus if You Have

Experience in working with international teams/expats

Knowledge of content management systems

Developing content modules for teaching and evaluation

Solid understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, and perform resource allocation

Good understanding of peer review, open access, and manuscript production

Experience in managing web-based content

Summary

The functions and responsibilities are very critical to Enago Academys projects and may warrant taking additional responsibilities, depending on the current requirements.
