Department: Finance & Accounts

Duration: 3 Months with PPO Opportunity

Stipend: 10000 Fixed

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to support our finance team in day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with invoicing, payments, client interactions, and data management using tools such as QuickBooks and Excel. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing & Payments: Assist in generating and managing invoices, tracking payment statuses, and following up on overdue accounts.
  • QuickBooks Management: Help with transaction entry, account reconciliation, and generating financial reports using QuickBooks.
  • Client Database Management: Maintain and update client records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations between QuickBooks and bank statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Excel Reporting: Use Excel for financial analysis, preparing reports, and tracking key financial metrics.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a support contact for client inquiries related to billing and payments.
  • Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables).
  • Basic knowledge of financial processes like invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Understanding of payroll components such as PF, ESI, GST, EPF, and Gratuity is a plus.
  • Good organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
