Hospital Lab technician

Key responsibilities

  • Sample collection and handling: Collecting and preparing patient specimens, such as blood, urine, and tissue.
  • Performing diagnostic tests: Conducting routine and specialized tests on samples to analyze for infections, disease markers, and other health indicators.
  • Equipment operation and maintenance: Operating, calibrating, and maintaining sophisticated laboratory equipment like microscopes and automated analyzers to ensure accuracy.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Analyzing test results, identifying abnormalities, and accurately recording and reporting findings to physicians to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Quality control: Ensuring the reliability and accuracy of test results by following strict quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Safety and sanitation: Adhering to safety protocols, including proper handling of infectious materials, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
  • Patient interaction: Interacting with patients during sample collection to ensure their comfort and provide reassurance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10, ₹16,000.00 per month
