Role Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Product Designer eager to learn, grow, and contribute creatively to a D2C lifestyle brand. This is a hands-on, full-time on-site role in Gurgaon where you'll support the design team in product design, branding, graphics, and digital content creation.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
1. Product Design & Development
- Assist in creating bag concepts, sketches, and prototypes.
- Support the team in material selection, product detailing, and functional design.
- Learn the D2C product lifecycle from concept to launch.
2. Creative & Graphic Design
- Create visual assets for social media, website, and campaigns.
- Contribute to branding and packaging design.
- Assist with video editing, digital visuals, and content collaterals.
3. D2C Learning & Exposure
- Gain hands-on experience in direct-to-consumer product strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing, production, and operations teams to understand product-market fit.
- Track competitor products and design trends to inform Kaban's design direction.
4. Collaboration & Team Support
- Work closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams.
- Provide creative input and innovative ideas for product and brand development.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
5. Continuous Learning & Growth
- Show curiosity and initiative in learning product design, D2C operations, and user experience principles.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technology relevant to bags and lifestyle products.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Freshers with a degree or certification in Product Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related fields.
- Strong creative and visual design skills, familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, or similar tools.
- Keen interest in D2C business models and product strategy.
- Collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
