EDUCATIONWORK EXPERIENCE

Diploma / BE.-Electrical.

Relevant 6 to 9 Years of experience Technical course

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

1. Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical systems, machines, and equipment in the plant.

2. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain press machines (400T & 800T), welding machines, robotic automation systems, and conveyors.

3. Inspect and maintain motors, drives, transformers, relays, contactors, and control panels.

4. Handle PLC, VFD, HMI, and robotic controller troubleshooting and programming support.

5. Carry out installation, wiring, and commissioning of new machines and electrical equipment.

6. Diagnose faults in electrical circuits and implement corrective actions efficiently.

7. Monitor power distribution systems, including panels, breakers, MCC, and switchgear.

8. Support energy efficiency and cost reduction initiatives through maintenance optimization.

9. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance work, reports, spare parts, and preventive maintenance schedules.

10. Coordinate with production teams to plan shutdowns and major maintenance activities.

11. Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms, statutory regulations, and plant safety protocols.

12. Train and guide junior electricians and technicians on plant-specific equipment and safety practices.

13. Conduct routine inspections of machines and equipment to identify potential failures before breakdowns.

14. Collaborate with engineering teams on modifications, upgrades, and automation improvements.

15. Participate in root cause analysis for recurrent electrical issues and suggest long-term solutions.

  1. Maintain critical spares inventory for key machines and ensure availability for urgent repairs.

  2. Work in shifts or extended hours during emergency breakdowns or production demands.

  3. Assist in installation and maintenance of lighting, earthing systems, and auxiliary plant utilities.

  4. Ensure all tools, instruments, and test equipment are calibrated and used correctly.

  5. Support the plant in lean maintenance initiatives and 5S practices.
