Role:

We are seeking a dynamic
Skill based Placement Officer
for a contract position, focused on developing the employability of students enrolled in our various skill development courses. This on-site role, based in Bengaluru, is crucial to ensuring that every student is equipped with both the technical and soft skills necessary to excel in today's competitive job market.

The responsibilities include:

  • Fostering soft skills
    such as communication, teamwork, and leadership to complement students' technical expertise, making them fully employable.
  • Assisting in employability skills, soft skills
  • Developing and refining CVs
    for every student, highlighting their skills, projects, and internships.
  • Tracking skill development
    by assessing progress based on predefined parameters and ensuring that students are achieving the expected competency levels.
  • Conducting assessments
    to evaluate each student's readiness for the job market.
  • Organizing
    capstone projects, internships, job fairs
    ,
    campus recruitments
    drives, and facilitating interview processes with potential employers.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners to
    maximize placement opportunities
    for every student.

The ultimate goal is the
placement of every student
through personalized support and skill enhancement, ensuring they are job-ready and equipped for long-term career success through their chosen pre-defined course milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Proven
    interpersonal and communication skills
    to guide and mentor students and liaise with industry professionals.
  • Expertise in
    interviewing skills, and palcements
    with a focus on matching student skills to employer needs.
  • At least
    3 years of experience
    in recruitment and placements, preferably within the
    IT or technology sectors
    .
  • Strong
    networking abilities
    to develop connections with potential employers and foster job opportunities for students.
  • A
    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
    is required.
  • This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring students not only gain relevant skills but also seamlessly transition into the workforce, equipped for sustainable employment.
