We are looking for a skilled and experienced
Network Security Engineer
with hands-on expertise in
Fortinet security solutions
including
FortiGate Firewalls
,
FortiManager
, and
FortiAnalyzer
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, managing, and monitoring Fortinet security appliances to ensure robust protection of network infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot
    Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate)
    in complex enterprise environments.
  • Use
    FortiManager
    for centralized management of multiple FortiGate devices including firmware upgrades, policy provisioning, and automation.
  • Utilize
    FortiAnalyzer
    for logging, analysis, reporting, and forensic investigations of network security events.
  • Monitor network traffic for potential threats and take proactive security measures.
  • Analyze firewall logs and threat intelligence data to identify and respond to incidents.
  • Design and implement secure network architectures and VPN solutions.
  • Maintain firewall rules and policies according to company security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in security audits, assessments, and compliance reviews (e.g., ISO, NIST, PCI-DSS).
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement and refine incident response strategies.
  • Provide support during security incidents or outages, including root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards on network security posture using FortiAnalyzer.
  • Stay updated with the latest Fortinet firmware releases, features, and best practices.


Qualifications & Skills:
Required:

  • 3–5+ years of experience working with
    Fortinet Security solutions
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    FortiGate Firewall configuration
    (NAT, IPS, Web Filtering, VPN, Application Control).
  • Experience managing FortiGate devices via
    FortiManager
    .
  • Proficiency in analyzing logs and reports using
    FortiAnalyzer
    .
  • Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of
    network security principles
    and best practices.
  • Experience with site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Fortinet NSE 4
    (mandatory for mid-level roles)
