Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in L3 Network Support and Network Security.
• Proven ability to learn and upgrade to new technologies and tools.

Certifications (Preferred):

• AIS / ASE / MASE / CCIE / PCNSE / CCSA / ITIL V3 Foundation

Job Description & Responsibilities:Firewall & Network Security Management:

• Troubleshoot and support Checkpoint Firewalls (R80, R77 Gaia, R75, R70, R65, Provider-1, VSX, Cluster XL, SmartCenter Server).
• Configure, upgrade, and migrate Palo Alto firewalls (PA-500, PA-3K, PA-5K, PA-7K, VSYS, Panorama).
• Perform firewall rule audits, optimization, and upgrades using tools such as Tufin, Firemon, and Algosec.
• Configure and troubleshoot Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs on Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto.
• Maintain and optimize security gateway architecture for maximum uptime and performance.

Load Balancing & F5 Administration:

• Configure and troubleshoot F5 LTM/APM for Level 2 and 3 support.
• Manage BIG-IP series (5000, 2000), F5 modules (LTM, GTM, VCMP), and perform version upgrades.
• Create virtual IPs, configure SNAT pools, health monitors, syslog, SNMP, and implement iApps templates.
• Manage SSL certificates, HA configurations, and perform proactive performance tuning.

Networking & Switching:

• Deep understanding of Switching/Routing Protocols (Layer 2/3).
• Configure and manage VLANs, VTP, and Trunk Protocols in large-scale networks.
• Collaborate with vendors and managed service providers during implementation and support activities.
• Troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN and application-related issues using advanced diagnostics.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure ITSM process compliance, maintaining documentation and project records (SharePoint/file share).
• Support system implementations, integrations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Manage Change, Problem, and Incident Management per ITIL standards.
• Prepare implementation and rollback plans; ensure proactive problem management and documentation.
• Participate in delivery audits and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Customer & Communication:

• Deliver quick and effective solutions while maintaining SLA adherence.
• Provide timely updates to clients and internal teams.
• Analyze performance against SLAs, take corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement.
• Exhibit excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

People & Collaboration:

• Foster teamwork, maintain high employee morale, and contribute to project goals.
• Promote continuous learning, automation, and process improvement to optimize delivery costs.
