Job Description:

Shamway Infra Developers Pvt. Ltd., a reputed and fast-growing name in the construction industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in building electrical systems and HV/LV substation works. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in electrical project execution for both government and private sector construction projects, including commercial and residential developments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, review, and supervise electrical works for building projects, including LT/HT distribution systems
  • Plan, execute, and monitor HV/LV substation installation, including transformers, panels, switchgear, and protection systems
  • Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), load calculations, cable sizing, and power distribution layouts
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure electrical work compliance with approved drawings and safety standards
  • Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, and contractors for electrical system implementation
  • Prepare and verify BOQs, electrical material specifications, and rate analysis
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), IS standards, CPWD electrical norms, and safety regulations
  • Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and handing-over of electrical systems
  • Review vendor quotations, technical data sheets, and assist in procurement of electrical materials
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain project documentation, testing reports, and quality assurance records
  • Coordinate with utility authorities for load sanction, approvals, and meter installation
  • Work closely with billing and estimation teams for electrical work measurements and certification
  • Ensure timely completion of electrical project milestones and support project cost control

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • 10–15 years of experience in electrical systems for building projects (government and private preferred)
  • Proven experience in HV/LV substations, transformers, DG sets, HT/LT panels, cabling & earthing
  • Strong knowledge of IS/IEC standards, CPWD/DSR norms, electrical safety codes, and statutory approval processes
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, MS Excel, and project management software (ERP preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and SLDs
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and project coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multi-site operations
