Deputy Manager Contract Management

Job Purpose

The Specialist Contracts Management role will support the execution of high volume, low/medium complexity agreements under a defined procurement category and/or contracting strategy.

Key Responsibilities :  Describe the key deliverables to be achieved by the post holder and the ongoing responsibilities of the role.

• Negotiate and execute low/medium complexity agreements in a timely manner under a defined procurement category and/or contracting strategy.
• Apply basic legal principles and make system updates to support contract reporting.
• Support metric reporting and system updates as required.
• Accountable for developing and delivering against performance goals
• Build relationships and ensure effective communication with GSK stakeholders; understand business requirements, support non standard workflow requests, position Procurement's value proposition.
• Consistently demonstrate GSK values and behaviours, foster the environment of a modern employer and promote GSK network/brand.
• Support business cases for implementation of new processes and procedures to improve organizational efficiencies.
• Develops solutions to routine problems of limited scope.
• Provide support for departmental projects/workstreams as requested.
• Build relationships with suppliers to ensure the value of the supplier-GSK relationship is optimized.

Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience Required

The job requires proficiency in:

• Procurement/ contracting fundamentals
• system/database utlization
• Communication and engagement skills
• partnership skills
• Project and change management skills
• 5 plus yrs of experience
• English proficiency (written and oral) + Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French or German
