Senior Manager – Strategic Buying

The Senior Manager – Strategic Buying is responsible for the overall strategic buying and contracting of key indirect services (Marketing, IT, Logistics, and R&D) and consumables, while ensuring stringent process compliance, managing internal audits, and driving the effective closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
We are looking for a sourcing person with a 10 years work experience (BE/ BCom + MBA in SCM) preferably exposed to Indirect Services categories on the business side e.g Marketing, IT, HR besides Goods Procurement for plants (Lab & Production) consumables.
Addition Skills
- Procurement approvals of DocuSign & POs for Marketing Promotion
- PO approvals of Lab Consumables & Production Consumables
- ARIBA sourcing award approvals of Marketing BRs, Lab & Production Consumables.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
Manage category sourcing for all indirect services and consumables (Marketing, IT, Logistics, R&D, etc.).
Drive business toward preferred suppliers and avoid supplier proliferation.
Simplify sourcing processes, update SOPs, and manage renewals of IT and Indirect Services MSA.
Approval Management-
Review and approve new Vendor and HCO (Healthcare Organization) approvals.
Manage PO and Service Entry approvals as per the Delegation of Authority (DoA).
Review and approve all ARIBA sourcing projects and Quote Comparison Reports (QCR).
Strategic Project Initiatives (SPIs)-
Actively participate in the SPI process.
Contribute strategic ideas to business initiatives.
Audit Management and Compliance-
Handle process audits by the internal audit team and prepare sites for audits.
Draft management responses to audit observations.
Ensure the timely closure of all Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).Social Interactions
Internal Interactions:-
Communicate routinely with the immediate team on work tasks.
Provide updates and seek resolutions from the Head of Marketing Compliance and Strategic Buying.
Coordinate, collaborate, influence, and provide insights to all other Functions in the HO and Plants.
External Interactions:-
Negotiate with Agents, Vendors, Customers, and Consultants.
Seek information, provide instructions, resolve queries, and network with Industry Peers.
