General Manager – Product Management & Solution Engineering (IoT)

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Leader to drive Product Management, and Solution Engineering across Tata Communications' IoT business. This role will lead the definition, design, and delivery of end-to-end IoT, Computer Vision, and Private Network solutions for large enterprise customers. You will be responsible for shaping product strategy, building scalable offerings, developing competitive pricing models, and guiding solution engineering teams to deliver impactful outcomes that accelerate customer digital transformation. The role requires deep expertise in full stack IoT platforms, computer vision-driven applications, and private network deployments, combined with the ability to engage directly with C-level stakeholders at global enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall product management strategy for Tata Communications' IoT, Computer Vision, and Private Network portfolios.
• Define product roadmaps and solution blueprints that align with enterprise customer needs and emerging technology trends.
• Develop competitive and sustainable pricing strategies for IoT and connectivity solutions, balancing profitability with market adoption.
• Oversee solution engineering teams in designing and delivering enterprise-grade IoT and AI solutions, integrating devices, connectivity, platforms, and applications.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to create differentiated go-to-market offerings tailored to vertical industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, logistics, utilities).
• Partner with technology and engineering teams to ensure scalable architecture, robust security, and interoperability across products and services.
• Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, engaging directly with CIOs/CTOs to understand business challenges and co-create IoT-driven solutions.
• Drive partnerships and ecosystem development with device manufacturers, cloud providers, and AI/ML solution partners.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory frameworks to drive product innovation and compliance.
• Establish KPIs for product performance, adoption, and customer success; regularly report outcomes to executive leadership.

Desired Skill Sets

• Proven track record (12+ years) in product management, solution engineering, or business leadership within IoT, private networks, or digital transformation.
• Deep expertise in full stack IoT products, including edge devices, connectivity (cellular, LPWAN, private networks), platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of computer vision and AI-powered applications, with understanding of video analytics, ML model integration, and industrial/retail use cases.
• Experience building and pricing enterprise-grade solutions, with clear ROI articulation for large global customers.
• Demonstrated success in working directly with large enterprises, especially in consultative or co-creation engagements.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, edge computing, 5G/LPWAN technologies, and IoT security frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Comfort leading cross-functional teams across product, engineering, sales, and delivery.
