Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1 year of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, basic automation exposure, and a strong understanding of QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing and Automation of web and mobile applications.
  • Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
  • Ensure the product meets the defined quality standards prior to release.
  • Report test results and provide clear feedback to the development team.
  • Participate in review meetings and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills:

  • 1 year of proven experience as a QA/Software Tester.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with manual testing (web & mobile).
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking tools.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Knowledge of SQL for basic database validation.
  • Selenium, Java
  • Understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger).
  • Exposure to agile methodologies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400, ₹500,000.00 per year
