Duties and Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities

· Perform technical laboratory procedures as per hospital and national standards.

· Collect and process patient samples (blood, fluids, tissues) safely and accurately.

· Prepare laboratory equipment, reagents, and specimens for tests.

· Conduct routine tests in biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and transfusion medicine.

· Ensure proper sample labelling, handling, and documentation.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory workspace.

· Operate basic lab instruments and perform daily maintenance checks.

· Ensure quality control checks before reporting patient results.

· Support clinicians with timely and accurate diagnostic test results.

Documentation & Reporting

· Accurately maintain laboratory records, test reports, and databases.

· Upload patient test results and ensure correct identification of samples.

· Follow hospital policies for documentation, charting, and billing.

Quality & Compliance

· Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Participate in internal quality control (QC) and external quality assurance (EQAS) programs.

· Comply with laboratory safety protocols and infection control measures.

Patient Care & Communication

· Reassure and assist patients during sample collection.

· Communicate abnormal or critical values to supervisors/physicians promptly.

· Maintain confidentiality of patient data and results.

Teamwork & Additional Duties

· Work as part of the laboratory team under supervision.

· Share duties, shifts, and emergency calls as required.

· Assist senior technicians and supervisors in complex investigations.

· Perform other duties assigned by the lab in-charge.

Education - Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT)

Only male candidates preferred.

Pay: ₹20, ₹26,000.00 per month
