Role & responsibilities

8 - 10 years experience in similar industry, of which at least 2 years should be in co-ordination role in Projects or Product development coordination. Should have good knowledge on IC engines and concept building. Knowledge of QED, APQP, PPAP preferred.

  • Responsible for Project Management activities catering to the development of Industrial Engines, which would include:
  • Interact with customer, from concept to product stage.
  • Study of equipment and application and evaluate engine and aggregate requirement
  • Co-ordination with various Project Managers of equipment manufacturer for ensuring adherence to the defined Product Development Process.
  • Generating MIS to report progress & to identify activities on Critical Path, activities requiring escalation/ intervention.
  • Familiarity of New Product Introduction process
  • Market mapping and assessment
  • Assessment / benchmarking of competition products
  • Generate data base related to market TIV and its segmentation.
  • Market intelligence to access future market requirements.
  • Proficiency in Project Management Tools, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft ppt.
  • Task Management
  • Relationship building / management
  • Co-ordination ability, Multi-functional and Plant/PD exposure desired
  • Good Communication / presentation skill
