Sr. Vertical Transportation Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize VT designs for elevators, escalators, and travellators.
  • Develop design drawings and reports from Concept Design to IFC
  • Conduct lift traffic studies, tender analysis, and drawing reviews.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural, telecom, IT, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate VT systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable VT codes, standards, and building regulations.
  • Work with VT suppliers and specialist subcontractors to oversee design implementation.
  • Conduct site visits and design reviews to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Utilize ELEVATE software (mandatory), CAD, BIM, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Supervise and coordinate engineers and CAD technicians in the Middle East and India.
  • Manage multiple design reviews and project deadlines.
  • Participate in client presentations, design workshops, and coordination meetings.
  • Experience on electrical design preferred (power circuiting, lighting, power distribution)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in vertical transportation system design.
  • Middle East PMC experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in ELEVATE, CAD, BIM, and Revit.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle client interactions and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
