Your Impact

The IT Systems Administrator is a technical leader within the IT Operations team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure. They play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the IT environment. They serve as a technical architect and coach for the IT team, and implement valuable enhancements to systems and processes based on deep understanding of business operations.

What You'll Do

  • Identity Ownership: Key responsibility for all Identity systems at DISCO. Build and maintain the most secure solutions to enable business teams to serve internal and external customers quickly and efficiently.
  • Virtualization Ownership: Design, implement and employ continuous improvement methodologies to DISCO virtualization services (AWS). Partner with business teams to proactively build solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency, leveraging automation to support functional processes.
  • IT Systems Management: Work with the IT team to administer, monitor, and maintain the organization's IT systems, including virtual systems and networks, physical networks, engineering tooling as well as collaboration tools.
  • Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements and ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Security and Compliance: Enforce IT security policies and best practices, conduct regular security audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide escalated technical support for complex IT issues and coordinates with vendors when necessary.

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure management roles.
  • Experience with Okta administration, including application integrations
  • Experience in managing and maintaining enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of technical concepts like mail flow, backup and recovery, network architecture, Infrastructure as a Service and more.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT operations and technology
  • Experience with low code or no code automation tools
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and naturally collaborative
