About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Information Security Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in cybersecurity implementation and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems, data, and infrastructure. This role demands deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing security across a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute information security initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, and applications.
  • Manage and monitor security events, logs, and alerts using SIEM and other security tools.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses.
  • Identify, investigate, and remediate security incidents and potential threats.
  • Maintain and operate endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and threat management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with IT, Risk, and Compliance teams to strengthen security posture.
  • Develop and implement security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Support audits, prepare documentation, and assist in security governance activities.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members on cybersecurity tools and processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1015 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with strong implementation and operational background.
  • Expertise in SIEM management, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and threat detection.
  • Strong understanding of network, application, and cloud security principles.
  • Proven experience in log analysis, security monitoring, and root cause investigation.
  • Sound knowledge of data protection laws, privacy compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Industry Background:

  • Candidates from FinTech, Banking, Financial Services, or IT operations-focused organizations preferred.
  • Experience in regulated environments will be an added advantage.

Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred):

  • CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CCSP, OSCP (any combination).
