This role involves comprehensive inspection, testing, and documentation of construction processes to maintain the highest standards of quality assurance in commercial real estate projects.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control & AssuranceDevelop and implement quality control plans and procedures for construction projectsConduct comprehensive inspections of construction work at various stagesMonitor compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standardsPerform quality audits and assessments of construction activitiesEnsure adherence to safety regulations and building codesTesting & InspectionCoordinate and supervise material testing (concrete, steel, soil, etc.)Review and approve test results and inspection reportsMonitor construction methods and workmanship qualityConduct pre-delivery inspections and punch list creationVerify compliance with structural and architectural specificationsDocumentation & ReportingPrepare detailed quality control reports and documentationMaintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and corrective actionsGenerate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and track resolutionDocument quality metrics and performance indicatorsCoordinate with regulatory authorities for inspections and approvalsProject CoordinationCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultantsReview construction drawings and specifications for quality requirementsParticipate in project meetings and quality review sessionsProvide technical guidance to construction teamsInterface with clients on quality-related mattersRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized institution8-10 years of progressive experience in quality control and quality assuranceExtensive experience in building construction projects (commercial, residential, or mixed-use)Proven track record in large-scale construction quality managementTechnical ExpertiseComprehensive knowledge of building construction processes including:Foundation and structural workConcrete construction and testingSteel fabrication and erectionMEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systemsFinishing works and architectural elementsDeep understanding of construction materials and their propertiesKnowledge of construction testing methods and equipmentStandards & Codes KnowledgeThorough knowledge of local and international building codesFamiliarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, IS codes)Understanding of safety regulations and environmental complianceKnowledge of BIS, NBC, and other relevant Indian standardsTechnical SkillsProficiency in quality management software and documentation systemsKnowledge of AutoCAD and construction drawing interpretationUnderstanding of project management principlesExperience with testing equipment and methodologiesRequired CompetenciesCore SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsLeadership and team coordination capabilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProfessional AttributesStrong ethical standards and integrityProactive approach to quality improvementContinuous learning mindsetClient-focused service orientationAbility to make critical decisions independentlyKey Performance IndicatorsZero major quality non-conformancesTimely completion of quality inspectionsClient satisfaction scoresReduction in rework and quality issuesCompliance with regulatory requirementsLocation: On-site –Mumbai, MHScheduled Weekly Hours:40If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the tableJLL Privacy NoticeJones Lang LaSalle (JLL), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services.
