About The Role
The Senior Business Analyst will tackle large-scale challenges within internal projects, collaborating closely with engineers, finance and accounting professionals, and technical business analysts as a subject matter expert. This role involves developing strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding business ecosystems, and managing process implementation activities. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of skillset that integrates accounting/finance experience, robust reporting and project management abilities, along with expertise in process mapping.

Responsibilities

• Addressing large-scale challenges in our internal projects.
• Collaborating with teams of engineers, accounting and finance professionals, and technical business analysts to define and design processes.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders to understand project ecosystems and identify where solutions will be implemented.
• Navigating ambiguous situations to comprehend new business domains and challenges.
• Staying up to date on new technologies and tools relevant to the work performed at Monks.
• Providing constructive ideas and feedback to improve processes and practices.
• Managing the day-to-day execution of various initiatives assigned by your supervisor, product management, or their designee.
• Other duties as assigned

About You
The essentials:

• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience and/or experience implementing ERP systems (Netsuite or similar).
• Strong reporting capabilities using various tools and technologies.
• Project management expertise, with experience adhering to strict project timelines and objectives.
• Proficient in defining and mapping processes and workflows to ensure finance teams have clear guidance.
• Self-directed and organized, with the ability to lead and coordinate the work of others while meeting target deadline
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Prior ERP implementation and Salesforce experience is a plus
