At its heart, Probo is an opinion trading platform building prediction markets for India.

On Probo, users can find questions on many topics of their interest, like sports, news, finance and many more.

Users can swipe yes or no to express their opinion and place trade(s), and by doing so they enter into an event contract with another user on the other side of the trade.

Probo is a matching engine that enables the execution of this event contract.

Each trade is INR 10, and at the end of the event contract, the user with the correct opinion wins the quantum at stake..

About the Role:.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lawyer with a strong foundation in general corporate legal practice, who is enthusiastic about contributing to the rapidly evolving Real Money Gaming (RMG) and information markets sectors.

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of law firm and in-house experience, with a robust understanding of corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and commercial agreements.

Familiarity with litigation is an added advantage..

Key Responsibilities:.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including service agreements, partnership agreements, and licensing agreements..

Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters in the Tech, RMG and information markets industries..

Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with operations and new ventures..

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and guidelines..

Support the litigation team in managing disputes and advising on litigation strategies, as needed..

Stay abreast of emerging legal developments in the RMG and information markets industries, providing insights and recommendations to the business..

Qualifications and Skills:.

Law degree from a reputed and renowned law college in India..

3-5 years of PQE, with a mix of experience in top-tier law firms and/or in-house corporate roles..

Proven expertise in general corporate law, including contract drafting, M&A, and regulatory compliance..

Enthusiasm for the RMG sector and information markets, with a deep understanding of the regulatory environment in India..

Knowledge of litigation processes and the ability to contribute to litigation strategies is a plus..

Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills..

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment..
