Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement & Invoice Processing Executive to join our team in Thane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the end-to-end procurement process, vendor management, and timely processing of invoices in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:

  • Manage purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
  • Source and evaluate vendors/suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain vendor database and ensure timely renewal of contracts.
  • Track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.

Invoice Processing:

  • Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices in the accounting system.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and goods receipt notes.
  • Ensure accuracy of invoice details, tax calculations, and payment terms.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
  • Support month-end closing activities by ensuring timely posting of invoices.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and internal controls.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Prepare regular MIS reports on procurement and invoice processing status.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and accounts payable.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally preferred).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 14 years of relevant experience in procurement and/or invoice processing.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or service industry preferred.
