Job Title: Manager - Quality

Responsibilities

  • Supplier Qualifications: Evaluate, qualify, and manage suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards and industry requirements.
  • Welding Engineering Oversight: Ensure welding processes meet quality and safety standards and verify compliance with applicable codes.
  • Electronic and Hydraulic Systems Review: Oversee quality aspects of electronic and hydraulic systems within the manufacturing process.
  • Incoming Inspection: Implement and monitor inspection processes for incoming materials and components to maintain quality standards.
  • Quality Reports: Prepare, review, and present comprehensive quality reports to management for continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of up to two quality executives, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Quality Audits: Plan, execute, and report on internal and external quality audits in line with ISO and company standards.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize processes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a Quality department within a manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership role managing teams or projects.

  • Certifications:

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

  • DIN ISO Auditor qualification.

  • Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, electronic and hydraulic systems.

  • Well-versed in DIN ISO 9001 standards.

  • Qualification in pressure tank requirements.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Strong communication skills for supplier interaction and team management.
