About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead and scale a talented team building

next-generation healthcare technology solutions that improve patient outcomes and

operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, a passion for

engineering excellence, and a proven track record of driving high-impact projects through data

driven leadership and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Engineering Excellence

• Establish and enforce best practices in architecture, design, development, testing, and

deployment.

• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of systems handling healthcare

data.

• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on code quality, maintainability, and

technical innovation.

• Promote the adoption of AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare data regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

Metrics-Driven Decision Making

• Define and track engineering performance indicators including code quality, velocity,

uptime, and defect rates.

• Use metrics, automation and AI tooling to continuously improve efficiency and

delivery predictability.

• Ensure decisions are guided by data, not intuition, at all levels of the engineering

organization.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing engineers.
• Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Set clear goals and provide consistent feedback to support career growth and

technical excellence.

• Guide teams in adopting AI powered development and productivity tools

Stakeholder & Product Collaboration

• Partner closely with product managers, clinicians, and business leaders to align

engineering priorities with business goals.

• Translate product requirements and regulatory constraints into scalable technical

solutions.

• Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring

clarity on scope, priorities, and timelines.

Delivery Ownership

• Oversee full project lifecycle — from planning and architecture to testing and

deployment.

• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery with robust testing and automation frameworks.
• Drive engineering process improvements in CI/CD, release management, and

operational reliability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of total software development experience with at least 5 years in people

management roles.

• Proven experience building and delivering complex, scalable software systems —

preferably in the healthcare domain.

• Strong programming expertise in C# and the .NET framework.
• Hands on experience using AI-assisted development tools (Eg : Hithub Copilot )
• Strong understanding of AI based code generation, review and testing practices.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into engineering workflows for productivity

and quality improvements.

• Solid experience in CI/CD pipeline design and advocacy, with exposure to automation

tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

• Demonstrated proficiency in automation testing and adherence to Test-Driven

Development (TDD) principles.

• Experience with UI frameworks such as React .
• Strong hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or

MySQL).

• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker,

Kubernetes) is preferred.

• Deep understanding of agile methodologies and engineering management best

practices.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
