About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager – Data Foundation to drive the strategy and development of our core data infrastructure and platform capabilities. This role is central to building a robust data foundation that enables analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence across the organization. You will work closely with engineering, data, and product teams to ensure the right data is available, reliable, and accessible for decision-making and innovation.

What You Will Do

• Own the data foundation roadmap—including data architecture, ingestion pipelines, governance, and metadata management.
• Partner with data engineers and architects to design and deliver scalable data solutions supporting multiple business domains.
• Define and implement data product principles (data as a product, data contracts, lineage, and quality).
• Prioritize initiatives that improve data availability, discoverability, and trustworthiness across the company.
• Collaborate with analytics, AI/ML, and business teams to understand their data needs and translate them into clear product requirements.
• Set and monitor KPIs around data quality, latency, completeness, and usage adoption.
• Champion data governance and standardization efforts to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Drive alignment between data engineering and product teams to enable self-service analytics and accelerate delivery of insights.
• Stay informed on emerging data infrastructure technologies (e.g., data mesh, data lakehouse, and modern ETL/ELT tools).

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management with a focus on data, platform, or infrastructure products within the tech industry.
• Deep understanding of data architecture and pipeline technologies (e.g., Kafka, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and BigQuery).
• Proven experience in managing data lifecycle—from ingestion to storage, governance, and consumption.
• Strong analytical mindset; ability to work with SQL and data visualization tools for validation and insights.
• Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Experience implementing data mesh or data platform modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of analytics enablement, data cataloging, and observability tools.
