Senior Product Manager, Flights Finance & CS Operations

Role Overview:

The Flights vertical at is experiencing rapid growth. Our ambition is to further accelerate this growth by offering customers choice and transparency in flight shopping and payment, including flight-related products. We also aim to provide status updates, post-booking self-service capabilities, and customer support for unforeseen issues.

The Flights Finance & CS Ops team, based in Bengaluru, plays a critical role in supporting this growth. This team is responsible for ensuring as Flights grows we have scalable processes and automation in place for our Flights Product Ops and CS agents to manage the growth of our transaction volumes. This team works to optimize the partner payment process (billing, financial reconciliation and minimising manual interventions for partner payments) and the CS agent experience & tooling.

As a Senior Product Manager, Flights Finance & CS Ops, you will be instrumental ensuring that we can support the continued growth of Flights. You will lead on migrating to a new billing process, minimising manual interventions in order reconciliation & reducing CS agent overhead to support customer queries. You will be required to work with internal customers across in finance, CS and operations and with their peers in our supply partners organisations to achieve this.

This role reports directly to the Group Product Manager, Core Services and requires a high degree of leadership and collaboration with internal stakeholders across business units and external supply partners.

Who You Are/What You Possess:

  • Experienced in leading product teams building internal tooling and/or billing/partner payment products.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills: Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a team and across departments. Experience working with Customer Service departments and Product Ops functions is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate with stakeholders across different roles and levels, including senior leadership.
  • Exceptional prioritisation experience, balancing priorities across a broad scope & priorities within 1 team.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills: Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful results for products used by internal customers.
  • Strong financial acumen: Ability to understand and analyze the impact of product capabilities/investments on customers and the business, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly data-informed: Proficient in using data to inform decisions and drive product strategy.
  • Extensive experience in product development from strategy formation to optimization and beyond.
  • Comfortable and effective working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Your Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, working in roles developing products for internal customers from CS, Finance, Billing desirable (particularly in the Flights domain).

  • Extensive experience in product development processes and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels. Strong written and presentation skills. Experience building strong relationships with globally distributed stakeholders required.
  • Proven ability to manage large and complex projects across departments and with supply partners.
  • Extensive experience in all phases of product management: strategy, solution design, build, scale, and optimize.
  • Highly solution-oriented and driven to achieve ambitious outcomes.
  • Expertise in formulating and tracking meaningful business metrics and using data to drive product decisions.
