Job Summary:

The Front Office Manager oversees the daily operations of the front desk and ensures exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out. This leadership role involves managing front office staff, optimizing room occupancy, handling guest concerns, and maintaining service quality in line with company standards. The Front Office Manager plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all front office operations including reception, reservations, concierge, and bell desk.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate the performance of front office staff, ensuring high levels of guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Handle escalated guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor room availability, occupancy levels, and coordinate with housekeeping to manage room readiness.
  • Ensure seamless check-in/check-out procedures and accurate billing processes.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the front office department.
  • Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, F&B) to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Monitor and manage the front office budget, expenses, and payroll.
  • Maintain reports related to front office performance, guest feedback, and occupancy forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company policies at the front desk.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and guest expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, IDS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
