Overview The Digital BI Data Visualization - Tableau E2 role is essential for transforming raw data into insightful and actionable visualizations that drive intelligent decision-making within the organization. As part of the Business Intelligence team, you will leverage advanced Tableau techniques to represent complex datasets in a user-friendly format, ensuring that stakeholders across various departments can interpret metrics and KPIs effectively. Your expertise in data visualization will not only enhance reporting capabilities but also foster a culture of data-driven decision making, facilitating strategic initiatives and improving operational efficiency. Being at the forefront of data analytics, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their visualization needs, provide training on best practices, and contribute to enhancing the overall data literacy of the organization. This dynamic role requires a mix of technical skills, creativity, and communication abilities, making it integral to the continuous growth and success of the business. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, design, and implement interactive and insightful dashboards using Tableau.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data visualization requirements.
  • Transform complex data sets into compelling visual stories that support business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Maintain and optimize existing Tableau reports and dashboards for performance efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all visualization projects.
  • Train and guide team members and business users on Tableau best practices.
  • Work with data engineers to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data efficiently.
  • Prepare documentation related to data sources, definitions, and visualization methodologies.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and visualization requests from various departments.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in data visualization and analytics tools.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance new data products and solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze user feedback to improve dashboard usability and functionality.
  • Assist with data governance initiatives to ensure compliance with data policies.
  • Provide strategic input during team discussions to enhance data visualization standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data visualization and analytics, preferably with Tableau.
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau software and a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Experience in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles.
  • Prior experience with BI tools and reporting platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Experience in providing training and user support for BI solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret business challenges.
  • Willingness to learn about new tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling is a plus.
  • Experience in agile methodologies is desirable.
