Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Datacenter Network Engineer with active CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, and support of complex network infrastructure in a high-availability datacenter environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in routing, switching, network security, load balancing, and network automation, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure datacenter network infrastructure.

  • Configure and support Layer 2/3 network devices, including Cisco Nexus and Catalyst series switches, routers, and firewalls.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to ensure minimal downtime.

  • Collaborate with security, systems, and cloud engineering teams to support hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

  • Evaluate and implement network automation tools and scripts for routine tasks and monitoring.

  • Manage WAN connectivity, VPNs, MPLS, and SD-WAN solutions.

  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution, including failover testing.

  • Monitor network performance and implement tuning/improvements to ensure high availability.

  • Maintain documentation for network architecture, configurations, and procedures.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in datacenter networking.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active CCIE Certification (Datacenter or Routing & Switching preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 1 years in a datacenter-focused role.

  • Deep understanding of Cisco technologies: Nexus (5k/7k/9k), ACI, Catalyst, ASA/Firepower.

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VPC, VXLAN, and multicast.

  • Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).

  • Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, NetFlow, Cisco Prime, or similar.

  • Understanding of datacenter architecture, virtualization (VMware), and storage networking.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication and documentation skill

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cisco ACI and SDN technologies.

  • Exposure to public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Other certifications (e.g., CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Juniper, Arista, Aruba, Ruckus).
