Engineer-Developer of Autonomous Systems

The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot, the company's rapidly expanding infrastructure. They will work alongside other engineers to ensure highest levels of performance and ability, and manage any problems that arise.

Main responsibilities

*Design and development of mechanical and electromechanical modules (rotary units, mobile platforms, and actuators).

*Creation and integration of subsystems: sensors, actuators, controllers, computing units, and cable subsystems.

*Development of algorithms for guidance, stabilization, localization, and autonomous control.

*Programming of embedded controllers (C/C++), working with RTOS and real-time systems.

*Development and integration of computer vision and object tracking solutions (OpenCV, ROS, etc.).

*Modeling, assembly, and field testing of prototypes; calibration and debugging of systems.

Required skills and knowledge

*Higher technical education: robotics, mechatronics, automation, electrical engineering, or related fields.

*Strong knowledge of mechanics, kinematics, dynamics, and strength calculations.

*Experience in designing electromechanical systems and working with actuators.

*Practical skills in electronics and circuit design, and experience in PCB design are highly desirable.

*Programming embedded systems in C/C++; experience with microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc.).

*Knowledge of RTOS and the principles of real-time systems.

*Understanding of control systems (PID, filters, basic motion control).

*Experience with computer vision/tracking (OpenCV, ROS, TensorFlow/PyTorch as an advantage).

*Confident CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA) and 3D design skills.

*Modeling and analysis skills in Python, MATLAB, or Simulink.

*Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and integrate subsystems.
