About the Role:
We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support our in-house R&D and Formulations team. This is a hands-on role focused on helping craft clean, small-batch products across skincare, haircare, and wellness categories. You'll work closely with senior formulators, learning the foundations of cosmetic formulation in a purpose-led, artisanal clean beauty environment. Whether you're a fresher eager to break into clean beauty or have some lab experience already, this is a career-building opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, sustainability-first brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in weighing, measuring, and preparing test batches for skincare and personal care products.
- Maintain lab hygiene and follow all cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Support senior formulators during product trials, evaluations, and sample development .
- Accurately track and document raw material usage , test data, and lab observations.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with basic maintenance or procurement coordination.
- Ensure ingredient labelling, batch numbering , and records are consistently updated.
- Follow all SOPs and safety procedures as per internal lab standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Life Sciences , or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years preferred (Freshers welcome with relevant education)
- Familiarity with basic lab procedures and cosmetic raw materials.
- Strong interest in clean beauty, sustainability, and wellness products.
- Ability to read and follow written protocols in English.
Preferred Traits
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and safety-conscious.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Good verbal and written documentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Kannada or Hindi is a plus for floor coordination.
