Junior Design Engineer

Electrical & Hardware Design

• Design and develop analog and digital circuits for embedded systems.
• Perform schematic capture, circuit simulation, and component derating analysis.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define hardware architecture and interface specifications.

Component Engineering

• Select, evaluate, and qualify electrical components based on technical, cost, and lifecycle parameters.
• Ensure alternate component sourcing and manage obsolescence risks.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams on BOM optimization.

PCB Design

• Create and review PCB layouts using industry-standard tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCAD, etc.).
• Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure signal integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability.
• Perform design reviews for DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) compliance.

Verification & Validation

• Develop and execute test plans for functional, electrical, and environmental testing.
• Support lab bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting of prototype boards.
• Document test results and ensure traceability to requirements and specifications.
