What this job involves:
Creating a strong culture of workplace safety
First things first: safety should be your top priority. You will come up with and implement safety management systems onsite. Likewise, you will conduct frequent walkthroughs around the facility to ensure that appropriate corrective actions are carried out, and that reports are made for immediate action. On top of these, you'll focus on the overall safety of the workplace, and may also take on tasks related to environmental health and safety from time to time.
Making the right steps to manage vendors effectively
Supervising our vendors is part of your mandate. As the person in charge, you'll oversee our contractors in the process, making sure that they religiously adhere to both MOM and local regulations while performing their duties. In this role, you'll carry out in-house safety orientation and tool-box meeting for all vendors to the site. You'll also facilitate regular site inspections and make sure that our vendors follow onsite safety rules.
Sound like you? To apply you must be:
Equipped with industry knowledge.
What we're looking for is a well-rounded candidate with a solid background in all things safety. Do you have at least five years of experience or industry exposure to onsite management? Do you have relevant certificates—including BCSS, WAH manager/assessor, MEWP and WSH level B—that can win you this job? If you said yes to all these, we're more than happy to discuss this opportunity with you.
What we can do for you:
At JLL, we make sure that you become the best version of yourself by helping you realise your full potential in an entrepreneurial and inclusive work environment. We will empower your ambitions through our dedicated Total Rewards Program, competitive pay and benefits package.
