Job description:

Role Overview:

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety protocols across multiple construction project sites. The role involves ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, promoting a safe work culture, conducting inspections, and mitigating risks in real estate building projects (residential and commercial high-rises).

Key Responsibilities :

 Implement and monitor site-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements for all construction activities.

 Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

 Identify potential hazards and ensure preventive measures are taken for work-at-height, scaffolding, formwork, crane operations, and concrete works.

 Conduct daily toolbox talks, worker inductions, and periodic safety training programs.

 Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures.

 Maintain all statutory safety documentation, records, and ensure compliance with government regulations.

 Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Contractors for maintaining safe work practices.

 Ensure PPE compliance, fire safety arrangements, and emergency preparedness on site.

 Liaise with external agencies, auditors, and regulatory authorities during inspections.

Desired Candidate Profile  Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Safety Engineering

 Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent certification from recognized institute

Certifications (Preferred):  NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA / ISO 45001 / Fire & Safety certifications

Qualification:  UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
