Role & responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), VPNs, and internet connectivity.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions in Active Directory or similar systems.
  • Ensure regular data backups and implement disaster recovery procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues promptly.
  • Implement and monitor IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, network diagrams, and asset inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repair, and support services.
  • Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure performance and security.
  • Provide user support and training on IT systems and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with firewall management, VPN configuration, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
