Job Title: System Infrastructure Manager

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and oversee the operation of servers, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure high server uptime and performance with minimal downtime for maintenance or upgrades.
  • Implement and manage datacentre operations, encompassing power and cooling systems.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for server administration and datacentre operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in server administration and datacentre operations.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux system administration.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, clusters).
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with enterprise backup and monitoring tools (e.g., Commvault, Veeam).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry certifications (e.g., MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Server+, VMware VCP, RHCSA).
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (PowerShell, Bash).

  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
