Job Title: GEO & SEO Specialist

Location: Malad (West), Mumbai

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical GEO & SEO Specialist to strengthen our online visibility and local search presence. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing and executing strategies that enhance both global and local (GEO-based) organic performance. You should have a strong command of search engine optimization, local listing management, and data-driven decision-making to boost our brand's discoverability across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SEO & GEO-targeted strategies to improve organic and local search performance.
  • Optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) and local listings to enhance regional visibility.
  • Conduct detailed keyword research, including location-based and industry-specific keywords.
  • Manage on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives to improve rankings and traffic.
  • Optimize metadata, content structure, and internal linking for SEO effectiveness.
  • Build and manage local backlinks and citations to boost GEO relevance.
  • Analyze performance data from tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and provide actionable insights.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in local SEO, Google algorithm updates, and search marketing best practices.
  • Collaborate with the content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO strategies are effectively executed.
  • Use AI tools for keyword analysis, content optimization, and SEO automation where applicable.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SEO, with proven success in local and global SEO campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Search algorithms, local SEO optimization, and ranking factors.
  • Experience with Google Business Profile, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered SEO and GEO optimization tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Only candidates currently residing in Mumbai suburbs will be considered.
