Job Description
Major Purpose of the Role:
To support procurement activities related to finished products, gift items, and services for the pharmaceutical business.
This includes coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Management

  • Gather, validate and consolidate procurement requirements from internal stakeholders, ensuring clear specifications, quantities and delivery timelines.

  • Supplier Sourcing & RFQ Management

  • Identify, evaluate and short-list potential suppliers; prepare and issue RFQs and follow up to secure timely responses.

  • Quotation Analysis & Supplier Selection

  • Compare and analyze quotations based on cost, quality, lead time and compliance; provide recommendations to select the most suitable supplier(s).

  • Supplier Coordination & Order Follow-up

  • Communicate with suppliers on pricing, required documentation, samples, artwork approvals and delivery schedules; track orders to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Records & Sample Management

  • Maintain accurate and accessible records of suppliers, quotations, contracts and samples for internal tracking and audit purposes.

  • ERP & Data Management

  • Enter and manage procurement transactions in the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates; generate reports as required.

Qualifications

  • B.Pharma / M.Pharma is mandatory for this role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; comfortable working with data and reports.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
