Job Description - Legal Associate
Location: Gurgaon
Type: Full time
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Associate to support secretarial & compliance,
licensing, and contract management for our corporate operations. The role involves ensuring
statutory compliance, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and liaising with regulatory
authorities and internal teams to address legal and licensing requirements.
Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do
● Thorough Understanding of Companies Act 2013, FEMA Compliances, Drafting of
Resolutions, Preparation of Notice, Agenda and Minutes, Filling of Forms with Registrar
of Companies and Intellectual Property Rights.
● Knowledge of various Statutory Licenses required for doing retail business in India under
Shop and Establishment Act, Factories Act and Labor Laws etc.
● Liaison with the Labor Department or regulatory authorities to handle any legal queries
related to Shop and establishment Licenses, Trade licenses, Fire Licenses and
Advertisement licenses etc. from such departments and authorities.
● Coordination and liaising with other departments of the Company to collect/provide
various information and documents.
● Drafting letters, applications, and other documents pertaining to licenses and other legal
and compliance matters and various statutes applicable to the business.
● Review and Drafting of Lease Deeds, NDA, Marketing Agreement, Freelancer Agreement,
Employment agreements, Vendor agreements, IT Service agreements, and various other
agreements.
Qualifications & Skills/What You Need
● Qualified CS & LLB with at least 1-3 years of relevant experience.
● Good communication skills both written and spoken
● Well Proficient in computer skills including MS Excel and office and good research skills
● Strong liaison and coordination skills
