About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and systems that support our analytics, business intelligence, and product development needs. You'll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data is reliable, scalable, and accessible across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Build and optimize data warehouses, lakes, and real-time streaming solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for performance and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, architecture, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or Scala.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, DBT, Kafka, Spark, etc.).
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Presto).
  • Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to machine learning pipelines and MLOps.
