Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

Mukunda Jewellers is seeking a talented Jewellery Designer with strong creativity and technical expertise to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have experience in creating lightweight, trendy, and market-ready jewellery designs that cater to customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise and create unique jewellery designs (gold, diamond, and lightweight Jewel).
  • Develop CAD/CAM models and detailed technical drawings for production.
  • Stay updated with market trends, consumer preferences, and seasonal design themes.
  • Collaborate with factory and craftsmen to ensure feasibility and quality of designs.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team to align designs with business needs.

  • Maintain a design portfolio and digital archives of all created work.

  • Should be able to communicate with customers for their requirements and design them.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in jewellery design.
  • Strong knowledge of design software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, CorelDRAW, Illustrator).
  • Understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Ability to balance creativity with practicality (designs that are both aesthetic and manufacturable).
  • Good visualization skills and keen attention to detail.

Education:

  • Degree/Diploma in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
