What you'll be doing…

Digital Services and Home team is seeking to hire a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the Service Management Product Area. As a Full Stack Senior Engineer, you'll play a critical role in leading and developing solutions in the Service Management Product area and its use cases, directly impacting business performance and customer experience.

• Leading Digital Services and collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Platform teams.
• Collaborating with business product owners, PTL/PATL, RTE, Scrum Master, PMO, and system architects to design and implement end-to-end solutions.
• Analysing business requirements and translating them into technical designs aligned with NSA architecture standards.
• Engaging in engineering discussions, contributing to the conversation, providing your own opinions, asking thoughtful questions for clarification, and enriching the environment
• Planning, designing, developing, coding and testing software systems or applications for software improvements and new products; revising and refining as required.
• Acting independently , at the same time displaying excellent collaboration across and between teams
• Identifying and aligning project requirements, conducting thorough impact analyses.
• Partnering with business teams, external vendors, and internal ACT/PCT teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Participating in the development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality, production-ready code.
• Performing hands-on coding to develop new modular, reusable services/APIs or enhance existing ones.
• Optimising components for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.
• Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for continuous integration environments.
• Writing well-tested, idiomatic, and documented components with comprehensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
• Two or more years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive experience in full stack development with proven expertise in: Java and Spring frameworks, Spring Reactive
• Proficiency with front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with Multi-maven micro services design & architecture
• Exposure to nextjs and react technologies
• Knowledge of co-pilot, AI methodologies and tools
• Strong design skills and in-depth knowledge of multi-tier application development frameworks
• Close eye towards data and KPIs to optimize the flows
• Experience in using data driven insights to create simplified user experiences.
• Delivering through trunk based development & AWS Feature Flags
• Solid Experience on Jenkins CICD Pipeline , GitLab and JIRA Tools.
• Solid Experience of SDLC and Agile Development
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and adaptability to changing business priorities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
• Good writer and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Experience presenting to and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience working in a Product Agile environment.
• Experience leading and managing teams to deliver successful products

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
