Role Description

We are seeking an Accountant Trainee for a full-time, on-site role located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Accountant Trainee will support the finance department with daily accounting activities, including bookkeeping, maintaining financial records, assisting in the creation of financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. The role also involves assisting in tax calculations, budget preparations, and liaising with external auditors as required. You will work closely with the team to ensure that all financial transactions and records are accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Accounting and Bookkeeping practices
  • Working knowledge of Financial Reporting and Budget Preparation
  • Understanding of Tax Calculations and Compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools like Tally.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Internship or prior experience in accounting or finance is a plus
  • Budget is in between 15k to 18k
