Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer-3 (SDE-3) to join our Logistics Tech SaaS Company. As an SDE-3, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex software challenges. You will work closely with our product team to build high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Our core technology stack is MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node), and our underlying cloud infrastructure is on AWS.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications using MERN technology stack and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Work closely with the product team to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure that software solutions meet business needs and customer expectations.
  • Lead technical design and architecture of software applications, and ensure that the software development team adheres to best practices and coding standards.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using test-driven development and other software development best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, and lead by example in promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities to improve software development processes and practices.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years of experience in a senior engineer role
  • Extensive experience with MERN technology stack and building scalable web applications using AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile/Scrum methodologies, test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and code reviews.
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using and GraphQL/Express.
  • Experience with and front-end development best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
